Priority Wins Pacesetter Award

Alpharetta, GA-based Priority Payment Systems was honored by the Atlanta Business Chronicle Friday, April 27th at the 17th annual Pacesetter Awards at the Cobb Galleria in Atlanta, GA.

The Pacesetter Awards recognize Atlanta's 50 fastest growing companies as ranked by revenue and employee growth over a three-year period.

Below is the official Atlanta Business Chronicle write-up of Priority Payment Systems:

Offering next generation bank card solutions, Priority Payment Systems has grown from a startup in 2005 to the 42nd-largest third-party payment processor in the United States, according to The Nilson Report. Processing more than $6.5 billion annually as of April 2012, the company's management team has substantial expertise in the bank card processing industry and averages more than 20 years each.

"Priority's growth can be largely attributed to our commitment to our customers and to our senior management, who have over 150 years of combined industry experience," said Chief Operating Officer Richard Harris. "The founders observed the ongoing lack of service in the industry and dedicated themselves to providing a high level of service, peerless in the industry."

Part of Priority's dedication to service includes the "4 Rings and Resolve" service standard, which means all phones are answered by a human rather than phone menus in order to quickly resolve issues.

"Our qualified representatives strive to answer every call within four rings and resolve the issue during the call," said Harris, who doesn't expect the company's growth to slow.

The company's growth rate has accelerated in the last few months, something Harris credits to more customers becoming aware of its offerings.

Priority Payment Systems is one of the top 50 bank card processors in the industry and is leading the Next Generation of Bank Card Processing with exciting new technologies, competitive pricing and world-class service and support. Priority Payment Systems enables merchants to accept credit cards, debit cards, gift cards, electronic checks and check conversion. Sales efforts focus on merchant acquisition through Independent Sales Organizations (ISO), Sales Agent offices, Financial Institutions, Independent Contractors, and Referral Partners.
